Connect HubSpot to OneIMS Client Reports
OneIMS Client Reports is the reporting app OneIMS uses for its clients. Connecting HubSpot adds your new contacts, new customers, form submissions, closed deals, lead sources and marketing email results to your monthly reports and dashboard, next to your website, search and advertising data.
Before you start
- You are a OneIMS client with an account in OneIMS Client Reports. Your OneIMS account manager sets this up.
- You can sign in to the HubSpot account you want to connect, as a Super Admin or a user with permission to install apps.
- Any HubSpot plan works. Marketing email results need a Marketing Hub subscription; everything else works on all plans.
How to connect
- Your OneIMS account manager opens your client page in OneIMS Client Reports, goes to Integrations → HubSpot and clicks Connect with HubSpot. This is usually done together on a short call.
- Sign in to HubSpot and choose the HubSpot account (portal) to connect.
- Review the read-only permissions listed below and click Connect.
- You're returned to OneIMS Client Reports, where HubSpot now shows as Connected. A Test connection button confirms it works.
- Your next report includes your HubSpot results. There is nothing else to configure.
What the app reads
Access is read-only. The app asks for these HubSpot permissions:
- Contacts (
crm.objects.contacts.read): counts of new contacts and new customers per period, and the original source of new contacts. - Deals (
crm.objects.deals.read): counts of deals closed won and closed lost, by close date. - Forms (
forms, optional): the number of submissions per form. - Marketing email (
content, optional): totals for sent, delivered, opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes.
Reports store totals and counts, not individual contacts' details. The app never creates, edits or deletes anything in HubSpot and never sends email from your account.
Who sees the data
Your HubSpot results appear only in your own reports, dashboard and client portal, which are visible to you and to your OneIMS team. Connection credentials are stored encrypted.
How to disconnect
- Ask your OneIMS account manager to click Disconnect on your HubSpot integration, or
- In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps, find OneIMS Reports and choose Uninstall.
Either way, access stops immediately. Reports already published keep the numbers they were made with.
